New to this newsletter is a list of all releases that made Omnimaga front page between the previous newsletter and this one. The list, along with previous months, is also available in the Notable Calculator Games and Tools section of Omnimaga website, which is still under construction. This month we also have interviews with two active community members.
Calculator Video Players Last December, a news article<FourVid<TI-Nspire<Online multiplayer games on a calculator soon? Omnimaga is not the only source of major releases in the TI community. Other websites, especially Cemetech, also gave their share of great programs lately. The most notable release was Global CALCnet Client v1.0, which allows you to connect your calculator to the Internet via an Arduino board or another cheaper alternative. Those who don't feel like manipulating electronics can rejoice too, as KermMartian and other Cemetech members are planning an USB bridge in the future. Various members on Cemetech tested a chat program together, demonstrating the potential gCn has, and an online calculator Scorched Earth clone is currently in the works. Could online calculator gaming be at our doors soon?
