So, my brother has been working with a friend on an electronic music project.  Rather then using a computer to generate sounds they used an electric drum set, a guitar, a bass, and keyboards/synths (with, I believe, the exception of one melody in the second track).  They also used several pedals and an eboe (sp?) to effect the sounds.  They recently finished the first EP.  Since you guys seem to listen to electronic music I thought you might appreciate it.  Here ya go:

They are currently working on a full album with this style of music, and another EP with all dance music.

I'm gonna have to put this project off till next semester.  Between my classes, paying for school, and saving money for a UN Posse tour/recording the full length, and just not being miserable I just have no time anymore.

I'm gonna be taking some easier classes next semester so things should continue then.  Everything is just way to hectic right now.

However, on a side note, there will be a full UN Posse CD by this summer and a US tour to support it.  We're gonna go as far as our money can take us and living/sleeping out of a van so maybe some people here can check us out (or buy us a pizza as we're planning on living off of ramen and donuts, lol)?

Since I was invited to open for Sonic Boom Six I've been listening to them a ton lately, specifically the album Arcade Perfect which is amazing (yeah, if you're in the area check us out the day after thanksgiving in Danbury, CT with Big D, Sonic Boom Six, The Pilfers, Bomb The Music Industry, and The Tri-State Music Conspiracy (as well as some lesser known groups)).

One of my favorite bands Dungen just came out with an album 4.  It's not as good as there past two albums Tio Bitar and Te Dut Lungt it but has some great tracks.

I'm going to see Streetlight Manifesto twice this weekend so I've been listening to them a bit.

I've yet to miss a Soundhouse show, a local soul band, and have been playing there demo on repeat.

I've been running on about 5 hours of sleep a day (my eyes are bright red and I'm constantly staring into space, I got yelled at by a teacher for coming to class 'high'), eating all meals in my room, and just doing nonstop work.  The end of the work (at least for a little) is tomorrow night.

Motivate me to get through this.

So yeah, I've begun working on this game again (as I promised I would at the end of the summer).  So far it's just trying to figure out my old code (been a while) but I plan on working on items and menus soon.

ONE STEP BEYOND

Today the band was completed when a saxophonist joined our ranks.

We also started recording a song.

As well, we played our first show this Saturday.  It was a silly Battle of the Bands competition, we got 1'st and won enough money for some recording hardware.

These past few weeks I've been working on an RPG.

There are a lot of things going into it, and I'll explain more later, but for now here's a screenshot of the movement system (I didn't make most of the sprites... but yeah).
