OH MY f***ING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Piece of sh*t, QWEST f***ING SUCKS!!!

My internet has been not working alot lately, and so we call Qwest and they tell us that we got a "low relibility" package, where they try to keep it online as best they can, but when then have too much load, then they shut it off.  f*** them, that's the gayest thing I have ever heard in my f***ing life.  Bullshit we bought some half-assed DSL, we bought their "Premium" package, the second best one avaible.  I am NOT going to pay 39.99/month or what crazy sh*t I'm paying to get this kind of f***ing poor service.  I told Qwest this (with slightly nicer words, but I still did cuss) and they said they would look into it.  Oh, yeah, I'm f***ing sure you will, b*tch. If they don't f***ing fix this bullshit by like tommrow, I'm going to f***ing go to their office here and f***ing yell like I am right now.  Goddamn I hate Qwest right now, as I couldn't research a project, and had to turn it in late because some other little 12-year old f***er probably had to play his little World of Warcraf or some sh*t like that.  f*** Qwest.

Rant over.

NOTE: This is the reason I haven't been on much lately

EDIT: Damn, their is a filter.

lol, I have told AOL twice to shut off mine, and they haven't yet. I only did it because it was a way to get a laptop, which didn't work.

Right now, I am upset with Paypal.

Make sure that you have funds in your account, because Paypal will try to withdrawl from that account twice! Now I have $50 in overage charges to pay, and they keep telling me that is my problem. I am thinking about trying to get a petition started to get Paypal shutdown... Smileysmile.gif I really hate them...

Ouch. I use Verizon DSL and have never ever had a problem with it at all. Shocked Dls don't go quite as fast as cable, but I don't care too much. My main thing is online gaming and my ping is always at least as good as my friends on cable's ping. I think I've said before, but I think it's a location thing. I have another friend with DSL who always has problems with it. I also have a friend with cable who loves it and has never had problems and a friend with cable that dies at least once a week. Try going with a different provider or maybe switching to cable.

AOL is evil. Paypal wants your soul. @_@ Be afeared of them. Back when I had 56k dialup, I went with a local provider and got almost twice the browsing speed of friends I had on AOL. Not to mention not having to use their evil death browser. :xscotch.gif Paypal is something I'd definitely recommend staying away from. Debit cards > paypal. Cheesybiggrin.gif

wait, you're paying $39.99 a month for that? Shocked You're getting kinda ripped off imo- my DSL is $18 a month.

Anyway... Sorry to hear about such bad service. Are you tied into a service contract? Can you get out?

@spengo - Monopoly, they're the only ones that offer service to where I live Sadsad.gif

@Ranman - Yeah, I was pretty pissed when I posted that.  Seems like they either worked it out or are in the process now, my internet seems to be faster and not down.  2 years of a service contract, but it wouldn't matter, because of the monopoly thing Sadsad.gif.

I could never go back to dial-up. O_Oshocked2.gif It's just not in the option book.

But, I am old enough to remember 300bps -- not kbps -- on my Commodore 64. Then, I upgraded to 1200bps. I said I would never go back to 300bps. :zzz:sommeil.gif However, back then we called it "baud" not "bps".

Same here, there's plenty of dial-up avaible, but, well, no.

I agree, I could never go back to dialup. I pretty much couldn't bear anything much under what I've got, but I wish I could upgrade from 768/128 Verizon to the 3 meg Verizon service or the 6 meg Comcast service... but at least its reliable.

I started with 300 bps now I am at 3 Mbps... Wow O_Oshocked2.gif That's 10000 time faster %)rolleyes2.gif

In more recent times, I have been upgraded from 768Kbps to 3Mbps at no cost via my service provider. That is 4 times faster... I don't really notice... I thought 768 was already pretty darn fast.

I still have my dialup service and I can use it whenever I want. They were such good providers in the past that we decided to keep them because of their email and webhosting service. They are really cheap anyways. I don't remember the cost tho. http://www.cybcon.com/ <==great local provider for anyone in the portland oregon area
