First off the links

http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/
http://forums.gametrailers.com/showthread.php?t=83880

Trailer is the actual trailer and the dissection is analyzing everything in it. Also is it possible this won't be named Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar just keeps using the IV. And check out the dissection it will blow your mind.

There are so many people and details and good looking graphics the game looks stunning. A guy driving a convertible is seen fixing his rear view mirror??!!?!? People are reading papers. Kids are playing. Construction workers are working. And did I tell you how big the city is. Massive is the only word to describe it. Every little detail has been thought out. The game is amazing just check the trailer for proof.

lol I think some people are a little *too* into that game, dissecting the trailer like that. Tonguetongue.gif

Also, I was talking to a guy I know that works at rockstar and he says that there will be a PC version, but probably not until over a year after the console release. Gotta let the consoles soak up the love he says. Sadsad.gif

How can you possibly be too into it. The dissection explains things in a pretty rational way. Also I think its better that they let the consoles soak it up. I mean wasn't that what GTA was first built for and thats why they let PS2 soak up the sales and then a year later release the xbox version because they didn't have that fat contract yet from m$?? Plus who did you talk to that works at rockstar??? Is he involved in GTA IV development?

[offtopic] its amazing how many people calc community people know [/offtopic]

GTA was originally a PC and Playstation game. GTA III, vice city, and san andreas had the PC release about half a year after the PS2 release.

Also, they can be too into it by being all like, frame by frame analyzing of the trailer. I don't think Rockstar meant for people to read quite that much into the trailer, hehe. Anyways, I'm sure it will be pwnage and I can't wait for it to come out... especially on PC. Smileysmile.gif Bloody giblets and fast cars ftw.

I was talking to [Rockstar]-Maxx. He used to be working on a half life 2 mod I'm interested in (no more room in hell) and then he got hired by rockstar. He still hangs out in the irc channel though. Cheesybiggrin.gif

Huh? Where did that come from? :huh:huh.gif I don't think the source code of half life 2 is free... Did you get confused about something since the name of the engine is the source engine? If so, I think there is a dev kit to make games using the source engine (as many game companies do) but I'm sure it costs money.

... or were you talking about making a hl2 mod? o.oblink.gif
