Hi. Um... I'm trying to install Windows 8 x32, but it always says "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
Note: if the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safety remove it for this step."

Where can I find this driver?

That depends on your Mobo/CD Drive, I would assume.

There's your problem. It wants to see a CD drive and there isn't one.

It's probably not necessary for actual running, and just that the installer is a quick hackup. Maybe try plugging in a USB CD Drive? Otherwise, you'll have to modify the installer in some way (near impossible considering you won't have the source and it's most likely hardcoded into the program)

I tried it on my Laptop and it does the same thing. It's just missing the driver IN the .iso file. (I am installing it through a usb CD on my netbook to. USB flashdrives didnt work either.)

It's using the same installer as Win 7, which installs fine without a DVD drive. That error also occurs when it can't find your HDD due to some weird setup.

Hmmm

Are you using the USB drive on the laptop? If so, try it with the built-in one. It's probably a USB issue with the installer, which, if they haven't removed it, has been around since windows 2000. If it's not working in a built-in drive, maybe try running a checksum on the iso to make sure it's not missing anything, and if it is, redownload.

Ah, good. That was a real pain.

We can't give you a driver without knowing your hardware. It might be looking for the USB CD Drive's Driver, which you probably got with it, if it's not plug-n-play.

I'm not sure about your driver but if its a netbook, its best to use a USB flash drive to install Windows 8. Follow the instructions on this page: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/habibh/archive/2011/09/14/how-to-create-a-bootable-usb-flash-drive-to-install-windows-8-developer-preview.aspx
