Hi. I'm currently trying to run backup games (from a gamecube) on a wii. I got the Homebrew channel, and installed custom IOS36, but the DVDx Installer always has an error when I try it. I also cant install the 0.3 gamma backup loader with WAD Manager 1.7. Any help?

btw: I found willrandship on the backup loading topic. How did I find him here, out of the ENTIRE web? Wierd...

You're secretly stalking Willrandship?? shocked

That said I can,t really help though, since I never hacked my (bro's) Wii. Juju could possibly help, though, assuming he's around right now.

I know, I was kidding. Sometimes this happens. I remember when I went on SMWCentral, I ran into a former MTVMG user from Youtube I met 3 years before online. Or how Geekboy1011 invited Juju here and he happened to live 15 miles west. Tongue

DVDx is now obsolete, try the Homebrew Channel instead.

If you're trying to backup Gamecube games on a Wii, you could just use a Gamecube save card on the Wii

He's trying to run copied games on the Wii, not just copy his savegames over.

Also, in the future, could you try to refrain from necroposting? This topic is almost 3 months old.

I was gonna ask how do you fit an entire game on a Gamecube memory card. In fact I think even on the Wii storage area there isn't even close to enough space to stock a Game Cube game. X.x

No problem. It's just usually recommended to make sure that when replying to a question, it hasn't been a long while since the last reply in case he might have already solved it. I guess it isn't too bad since it was only a few months ago. I saw a 8 years necropost on another TI forum once shocked
