Okay. Sinee I'm in a big family everybody buys stuff for each other which can cause people to have quite some presents sometimes too. Anyway I got: -2 pair of socks -some kind of anti-stressball that gives light if you hit it REALLY hard. -books(some for reading, others for learning) -slippers -a tie -a bow(is that the right word?) -a pack of 70 gogo's( http://www.gogoscrazybones.com/) I know it might seem childish but they fit itn my collection. -a pen -razors -face-cream-soap-thing -coat-sweater -bandages -drawing paper -teeth grabber thing(freaky) I think that was about it. So no calculator, which I didn't ask and didn't expect too because only I am good at buying calcs. I wish every family around here were civilized enough to not use Christmas to fight while they're drunk. There are 3 people who got arrested in Quebec province on Christmas day because they were causing troubles at their respective partys and were also hitting people. This isn't that frequent, but since the past 20 years or so, most Christmas partys/celebrations turn into fights because of dysfunctional families and family members hating others and such thing, so a lot of people got sick of this and just stopped hanging with their family (or most of it) to celebrate. Today, a lot of young adults of my age just hang with friends and drink beer instead of sitting 5 hours with family only to hear about its problems or people venting frustration accumulated over the entire year. Family members that try to cause troubles in their respective families is a big reason why Christmas over here kinda lost its meaning. I remember as kid we would be with plenty of family members, getting plenty of gifts and playing games, then late at night we would go to church. Today, 3-4 family members see each others on Christmas eve, then on Christmas day they hang with others, then on the same evening a few other people, then they see the rest on New Year eve or so. There are even people who stay alone. I miss being a whole lot of people on New Year (sometimes 30-40), now we are like 5-6 celebrating on Christmas and New Year... I just love being with my family, which is huge.. With them it's just a marvelous time around christmas and new year.
