Well, there is a minicraft project, and it obviously needs sprites. Stefan Bawens found the ones from the original game here but they are not 8x8 (12x12 max I think, to be doable on a z80) and not monochrome nor grayscale (don't know if the coders want it grayscale or no Huh?).

So if you get bored, you can join the project and become the official spriter Tongue
Note that it is just a project, it wasn't even started yet, so don't start yet, only tell us if you want to join or no (I feel like I am part of a sect or something Tongue)

some of them look like they were resized from a larger image <.< >.>
the clones are nice, but their legs look too far forward to actually be attached to their bodies.

well, the legs themselves are fine. just move them over one pixel, and they would fit with the body better, is all i was suggesting.

double!

ok so I did NOT make the original! This time I borrowed it from a friends sprite sheet, but I've always wanted to make one in calc color...so instead of slaughtering an attempt at a good MARIO CART (I'm not good with cars) I re-sized this and changed a few pxls and picked and choose which pxls to change colors...and heres what I got! soon I'm gonna have to my own version of a mario cart Smiley
