I speak some Russian, but this is a higher-level class, so the kids know some English.  English is a second language in Russia like Spanish is in the United States.

Knew this was coming, and with you being overseas and having to adjust to the new life and environment, it makes sense. It's quite an opportunity you have been given. Not everyone has the chance to travel to the other side of the world. Make the most out of your stay, and don't overwork yourself! Be sure to pack plenty of warm clothes too. Cheesy
