Don't worry though, as he's still staying around. Just one staff position below and most likely with the same activity. It's just that the staff is getting restructured based on the recent activity of each. For example Juju hardly did anymore site administration/news posting or didn,t participate well enough in moderation, but still had projects in the works and was very active, so he got moved to CoT. In Hot Dog case he wasn't doing admin stuff since last summer so he got moved to ARS. It just took a long while until the staff changes occurs, so they're all gonna occur at once. Also there isn't much need for that many ARS anymore, because the nDoom incident has been over for over a year, so all inactive ones that are no longer active as IRC channel op will be removed, while all CoT that didn,t post in over a month will be removed as well (except JustCause). Actually most of those CoT would have been removed long ago because the staff rules force CoT/managers to post a minimum of 10 times in the last 30 days, to maintain a certain level of activity.

So this is why you might see like 6-9 staff getting demoted or retiring within a few weeks. Of course in jimbauwens' case his departure is a different story, but the rest are mainly due to a long inactivity in their domain or as a whole.

Hopefully there are more managers again though because it would suck if there were only 3 to do all the work of fixing the site and stuff. X.x

At least now it gives Omnimaga a opportunity to restructure the staffing roles with new blood (currently active people). And it is tricky being consistently active, and all the former staff that have just stepped down have done a good job in their roles.
