Well back then I was still admin and I was online so often that I chatted with many of the members privately on a regular basis, so it got easier to know them, and with Ztrumpet I earned his trust really fast. With some other people it can take longer, though.

And yeah the trick is to really renew the staff so there is new blood and the list doesn't end up with mostly inactive staff with the time. It's also good that the team has some great projects as well, so it encourages regular members to also code too.

Yeah, DJ_O and myself suggested a lot of times taking down several of the inactive staff, but I think nobody really did anything... It went pretty fast when we elected Deep Thought though.
