Pretty simple, you can show the source on my script and it'll tell you that it adds up all the ASCII codes of each letter and takes up the remainder of a division, that remainder is the index of a color in a table.

Ah ok it's based on the nickname content. I thought it was based on screen refreshing (basically changing color on each refresh) or stored in memory on the server or something.
