Holy shit! I don't believe it! I was really sad when cartoon network killed Toonami. I didn't think they'd ever bring it back... On April 1st of this year Adult swim ran a Toonami line up as a "joke". Apparently the fans started calling for it to return. I myself joined twitter just to tell them to bring it back, and now, it's coming back! Maybe we can finally start getting some decent programming back on tv. Wow, i don't even.

Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

Holy damn this is awesome. I heard they'll bring Cartoon Network along with Adult Swim in Canada, I hope Toonami comes with them. (There was already a CN-like channel complete with its Adult Swim equivalent called Teletoon and CN Canada will be owned by them, so, o.o?) And I hope my provider won't mess up and delay the launch like they did with a competitor's sports channel.

@jUjU: I'd imagine if cartoon network becomes available in your area it'd be the same programming block as here(more or less). So I'd say yea, you should get the toonami portion of their programming as well. =)

Yeah agreed with Art of Camelot. You should maybe keep your trolling outside Omnimaga, like you had done so far. And if it already got you warned elsewhere, it might be best to play nice here, since Omni tends to be less tolerant than other calc sites towards rude comments.

Toonami is the first step... Now if they can kill the rest of the "live action" shows they got goin on and keep the show STRICTLY ABOUT CARTOONS, then the channel will regain it's credibility... seriously, who the fuck out there is actually pining for more "destroy, build, destroy" and "dude, what would happen?"

But yea, Toonami was always the show I looked forward to around 6pm for my DBZ fix, and was very happy when one year they actually decided to continue the Freiza saga to the very end, rather than do the dumbass move of "leave us in the cliffhanger of Goku's return then shoot back to when Raditz first appears on earth".  And then newer episodes showed up and then I was even happier.

Hell, Toonami even had me conform to watching Naruto at one point... and i HATED Naruto and the huge craze that it had going back in the day

I can relate to and agree with pretty much everything you said in the above post. The only difference for me is that I was a Naruto fan from the first time I started watching it. It'd be nice if this kicked off an anime revival of sorts. There isn't much new anime making it to tv these days, and I'm hoping they'll pick up some new stuff in addition to some of their classic lineups. =)

Keep in mind that Adult Swim on saturdays (i think its saturdays) is when they air alot of anime stuff, so Cartoon Network might be limited in supplies when it comes to anime shows they can air.  And hopefully none of it will be re-runs of other shows that are on tv now

Also am I the only one that wants to see an english version of Lucky Star, lol? Tongue
