Since TI allows down grading from 3.2 back to 3.1, which I think is uncharacteristic for TI, that suggests to me that perhaps they knew about the speed problem and chose not to fix it and/or there is some other major flaw that is yet to be discovered.

I don't think they knew about it. The release was already postponed to solve some issues .. so I think they would not have released it if they knew about it.
The people (who are on a pretty high level with TI) did not know about the bug, and they already fixed some of the ones we reported.

runeazn, you have to conect the calculator and send to it the file of OS 3.1, the calculator will accept the file and install the previous OS

first time i try to downgrade 3.2 to 3.1 i used downgrade fix
but yesterday reading a post, i tested it and works perfectly

Anyway it's clear evident that they have not trust in their own quality assurance anymore. But still focusing on "fixing" the Ndless issue... How irresponsible and irrelevant.

Well, every company do beta tests with other people than "inside", but it's still very bad for the image hat bugs like that didn't get fixed in time.

They care only for the next release, as if the beta testing is here to write in advance the roadmap for the next OS -_-

Yes. And that surely means incompetent management.  It seems clear that the high level management doesn't have the Engineering Background from which to direct the Software People properly.  Considering the big spin and sales effort, I have to believe that management lacks integrity and likely believes that spin and strategy, and not a great product is the key to sucess.  Makes me feel very comfortable to use their products.
