Hi there,

TI-Planet (well, actually more Jim Bauwens and I Tongue) will release a beta of FormulaPro very soon (that means probably a beta tonight ;-) )
For more info about this project, you can go here: http://adriweb.github.com/EEPro-for-Nspire/

However, we need you in order to decide which UI we'll adopt, as we can't really decide Tongue

I personally prefer the second. It's more like the TI-Nspire OS than the first one.

Indeed, in the OS dialogs etc., buttons are at the bottom.

I was first more for the top options, but at that time, the bottom view didnt have the title in the center, but now that it is, I find it better;

both bars seem a bit tall; is that the default nspire button height or something?
and the first seems more natural, but, if it fits in more closely with everything else, i'd go with the second.

I think the second one looks more natural. I've only used Nspires very little, so I think my opinion is affected by what PC programs usually do.

Indeed, for dialogs-like frames in [any?] OS, buttons and actions are on the bottom.
For the top one, it's more like an iOS [navigationController] UI.

TI-68k and Nspire users are indeed used to buttons on the bottom, so I'd guess that the application would feel more natural to them with buttons on the bottom, indeed.

I'd go with the bottom as well, unless random idea: maybe have it on the side?  Seems like there's a lot of horizontal space not used in the terms.  Tho that might be overly hard to do (might need some sort of icon), and it probably wouldn't be too natural either Tongue

I'm going with buttons on top. I know it's not really natural but it gives me the impression the actual part of teh screen you are going to use for entering stuff is bigger.
