Hey!
Raikiri3000:
Hi guys! I'm a jamaican highschool student taking SATs next month and I'm about to graduate. I know basic C/C++ as per school learning but I'm excited about learning programming. However I've never had a teacher not bound to a syllabus... Anyway let me just say hi again before I start rambling :P
Raikiri3000:
I own a TI-84+ SE and will be buying a TI-Nspire cx cas in december

A Jamaican highschool student! Wow :D
I'm glad to hear you'll be joining us here, as most of us are programmers :) C/C++ is incredibly useful these days, but learning to code simple things in BASIC and AXE on your TI-84 (if you decide to) is a tremendous help for gearing your brain towards logic and all that fun math you'll have to do in getting your programs to work.
Best of luck, and welcome to the community!

Also as a friendly reminder, double-posting is usually discouraged unless there's a day or something in between the posts ;)
The 84's pretty popular around here, a good chunk of us program them. If you need help with it feel free to ask!
