I chose 1 and 2. Definitely AA batteries over AAAs, in my opinion.

2
that way it's more flexible and can be used with both rechargeable and non-rechargeable, and batteries going dead is an issue less often

Agreed. My main complaint about AAA's is their shorter lifespan and higher price, while an internal battery could be a bit difficult to replace when it wears out.
Votes are 1-2-1-2-1 right now Tongue

AA's are a bit thicker, so the calc would either be thicker or have an awkward protrusion where the batteries are. Of course, if you made it thicker then it would have room for a lot other stuff

I think that AA batteries are worth the extra thickness. I like using rechargeable batteries, and it's often hard to find rechargeable AAAs at stores

Heck, the 84+ already had room for AAs. They just needed to move the board around a little, and there would have been no extra thickness

#2 for me, the z80 one will not have enough juice demands to need a rechargeable lithium battery.

AA batteries, and if it's possible to use an internal battery like on the DS and PSP that will last several years and is cheaper, 1 too. So basically I choose 1 and 2
