Since there are so many Papi/Doodle Jump games in the works now, I decided to redo mine, originally found here: http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?topic=1564.msg23028#msg23028  w00t

In Game Controls:
[Enter] Pause
[Right] Move Right
[Left] Move Left

Basically, it's like most games, only sideways.

Notes: It automatically archives the appvar PapiJump if it was archived and unarchives the appvar PapiJump if it was unarchived.  It starts Archived. Smiley

Good luck! Grin

By the way, does anyone know how to turn a gif 90o?  It looks a little funny now.  Tongue

Enjoy!  Azn

Very nice in making the direction horizontal, and the title screen is really good.
However, i think gravity is a little lacking.

Nice to see an update on this. Smiley As for gif rotation I think VirtualDub might be able to do this but I'm not sure.

Are you planning to upload this version in the archives or are you planning to add more?

Well, I was planning on being done, but...
However, i think gravity is a little lacking.
...I may have to make the gravity more realistic.  I know how to do that, so it shouldn't be too hard. Grin

Nice, are you planning to add more features?

As for GIF stuff, GiftedMotion is a nice animated GIF editor (assuming you have Java). Not sure if it allows you to turn it sideways, though.

With all the PapiJump/Doodle Jump clones out there, I think there could maybe be more original features added in this clone. I'm thinking for example about power-ups which let you jump higher for a while and others that lets you move twice faster, as well as traps making you move in the opposite direction and that stuff. In that mode you could have a time limit without jumping or something, so someone won't idle while under a power-down effect. Maybe destroyable blocks too?

EDIT: I rotated it with VirtualDub but the file size is massive Huh?

I think I've decided that I'm happy with it as I uploaded it. Smiley

It was meant to be a clone of my original version after all, and I have too many other things I need to get done. Grin

Here's what I need to put a ton of work into before Christmas:
Pre-Calc Test tomorrow.  I need to study about an hour. Sad
English paper due on the 23rd.  I need to work on it for about 3 hours tonight alone. Cry
Cage Match...  I have an idea, but need to code it. Tongue

Ouch you finish school quite late. I hope you don't have lots of homework and stuff during Christmas break or trips causing you to have to go away for a long while and not be able to code. Big frown

Good luck!

Ah ok, I was more worried about you getting swamped with full of homework/projects during the break or your parents always bringning you everywhere like last summer, causing you to have no internet and calc access during the entire Christmas break Big frown
