This is the best part of Pokemon: the manga. Especially Pokemon Adventures! (Also called Pokemon Special).

Some of my favorite characters are:

Red                                               Gold


Green                                             Yellow

Does anyone else read this manga? I just reached the Gold and Silver chapter myself.

So, yeah, I have a blog now. Nothing special, just your average ghost town.

Spoiler for Pokemon TI:
Map engine is going to be redone from scratch, since I was lacking in organization last time. With a project as big as Pokemon, planning and organization is key, so that will probably be the brunt of the work done on this project for the time being.

Spoiler for Nostalgia:
Being worked on. Nothing really new to put here, but it's being worked on.

Spoiler for Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack.

Spoiler for Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Currently on hold. I am unsure of whether this will remain DCS7 Hybrid BASIC or if it will use Batlib, Grammer or perhaps Axe.
This may see more progress once a demo of Nostalgia is released.

acutally, never read the manga.  I like the style they draw those people you posted though, kinda epic-like.  I like.  Where can I purchase these entities?  (also, in advance, don't be hating me for hating any pokemon game older than ruby/saphire generation Tongue)

I started reading the manga a while ago, but I stopped in the early GS chapters. It's much better than the anime in my opinion.

Nope, the stories are completely different. Some things happen in the manga that would never happen in the games or anime, such as Pika (Red's Pikachu) learning how to surf by using Substitute, then having the substitute take the form of surfboard.

Team Rocket's a lot better in the manga. Actually, 4 of the gym leaders are Team Rocket's executives, although one defects. Plus, there's no Jessie and James, which removes most of the stupidity.

Team Rocket isn't the only antagonistic party, though. In the Yellow Chapter, the Elite Four are the antagonists, and in the Gold/Silver/Crystal Chapter, there's Neo Team Rocket, which is a resurrected Team Rocket not under Giovanni's leadership.

Yep. As far as I can tell, only a handful of the Chapters exclude previous main characters, the one that pops into my head is the Ruby and Sapphire Chapter. Of course, everyone comes back for the Emerald Chapter, so yeah. I'm not sure about Diamond and Pearl or Platinum, though. And I really know nothing about the Black and White and HeartGold and SoulSilver Chapters.

are they going to have 4th and 5th generation chapters?  That would be cool, though I can't stand the idea of having like 800 different pokemon.  Soon the pokedex will turn into a dictionary.

There's already a pokemon black, a mod of Red Tongue

@Ashbad, it's pretty much already like that. That's why Fire Red's pokedex forces a search by type rather than a list. Tongue
