So, in my opinion,

The Gameboy Color is more advanced (for example better graphics) than the NES
The Gameboy Advance is more advanced than the Super Nintendo
The Nintendo DS is more advanced than the Nintendo 64

What about the Nintendo 3DS?  Do you feel it will be more advanced than the gamecube?

I bet it will be slightly more advanced, or if it isn't graphical-wise, then it will be with the 2 screens.

However, the problem is that for some system, the game choice dropped from a system to another. For example, a lot of NES RPGs are absent from the GBC, and for the GBA the sound quality for many game ports is crappy, not to mention I have yet to see classics such as Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger for the GBA (although CT came out for the DS later). The DS seems to break this trend, though, considering the 64 had a terrible game choice (great games, but where are all the RPGs?)

My main problem with the GBA ports is the reduced screen size, and the ridiculously bright graphics in some games.

I think every platform has its own pros and cons. for example, the NES is just cool, as you see those complicated games (for its time). so can you think many reasons for being cool for every platform.

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

Aperture Science:
We do what we must because we can.
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who are dead.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive.

I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you.

Now these points of data make a beautiful line
And we're out of beta we're releasing on time.
So I'm GLaD I got burned think of all the things we learned
For the people who are still alive.

Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you'll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa -
THAT WAS A JOKE. HA HA, FAT CHANCE.
Anyway, this cake is great:
It's so delicious and moist.

Look at me still talking when there's science to do.
When I look out there it makes me GLaD I'm not you.
I've experiments to run there is research to be done
On the people who are still alive

And believe me I am still alive.
I'm doing science and I'm still alive.
I feel FANTASTIC and I'm still alive.
While you're dying I'll be still alive.
And when you're dead I will be still alive.

Still alive

It has HD Graphics, unlike the Wii...

It has 3D without glasses.

Without any doubt,
this is the best console ever.

Weird I didn't see the bright graphics. But yeah I remember sound was an issue. Just compare Final Fantasy VI or Sonic the Hedgehog sound from the original versions to FFVI Advance and Sonic Genesis re-releases. X.x

It has HD Graphics, unlike the Wii...
I don't think it has over 640x480 (maybe 320x240?) pixels (unless you count every pixel twice due to the 3D... but it wouldn't be HD even then)

Weird I didn't see the bright graphics.
It's only present in a few games. Since the original GBA didn't have a backlight, they made everything too bright instead, making it look terrible on GBAs that have backlight.

not quite yet, though it has a shot.  I personally don't like the double screen idea though -- if they could just jazz up the Advance SP design, that would be a buy for me.  And if It came with a pokemon game 'Pokemon Rainbow' where you could play through a 2000 hour story in more than the 5 regions Grin

I believe it is (afterall it's epic), but Wii has features the DS could never haver due to being a TV console.

Though, I have to admit the number of colors a DS screen can show is a bit... lame.  I think it's like 17 bit.

So, twice that of prizm Tongue

I think its like 840 X 480 - total, the pixels per eye is half.
