By desk cleaning I meant organizing all the icons on my desktop. I usually have a bunch of files sitting around from having the default location for saving images from Fireworks and downloads from Firefox being the desktop. I also get a lot of clutter from getting things for Brawl Plus.

Oh yeah, I disabled Autoplay in the registry and have the 'no CD' patch for some of the games. For a couple others, eh, let's just say I borrowed it from a friend. 

Is it me or are there A LOT of Josh/Joshua member around here?

Also Netham45 what do you mean? Do you mean the PSP stuff and uTorrent?

On an off-topic note, I wish it was easier to connect with people on Halo CE. We could play some games sometimes with Eeems...

Really? What other Joshua's are there? Also, Yeah, I have CFW on my PSP and play homebrew/emulators on it.

Out of curiosity, what you're are did for the red Start button?

I have a modified uxtheme.dll to allow 3rd party themes and I'm running the Zune Theme with the color mod. If you want it I can probably find where I got it, although I've had it for quite a while. If not I can always just pull it from the themes folder and zip it.

First: Download Mac4Lin. It's a collection of themes with a Mac style. Install it with the included shell script.

Second: For some reason, it forgets to change the pointer and desktop background. Go into System > Preferences > Appearance, click Custom, and change the pointer to the Mac4Lin one. Then find the background on Google Images and change it.

Third: Install cairo-dock (also known as glx-dock) from the software center. You can customize it a lot, so just play around and find the settings that best match Mac OS X. I won't tell you how because it takes a really, really long time to do it right, but as a tip, remember to change the angle of the doc to about 30 degrees from the vertical.

Fourth: Install Foxdie for Firefox. Play around with the settings until you get to a combination you like.

Fifth (bonus): This will take a lot of time, but if you have time to kill, change the bookmarks for Firefox to the default ones for Safari (you can see which ones to use in my screenie).

I do not like the look of cluttered desktops. I sorry if i am offending, but it just looks untidy, all these icons everywhere with no apparent order. However there is a very good solution. Get Stardock fences. It's great for tidying up a desktop, and looks 100x better. And you can still have your desktop full of icons except it will look 100x better. It's free and i recommend it to everyone as i think it is one of the most useful tools ever! You can even hide all your desktop icons with it and heaps of other functions!

I just hate to have to click Start->Starcraft II to play SC when I can instantly click it from the desktop, and I hate the quick launch on Windows 7 so I disabled that.

I agree with the icons, having too many small icons is cluttered...

I drastically changed my taskbar, if u still remember on my emulator screenshot i posted in september i had small icon taskbar, now ive reverted back to big icons. and also before i had a toolbar in the taskbar a while ago, was like a quicklaunch bar (right click the start button ->toolbars-> new toolbar) but i removed it because i got tired of it after a while.
Anyway i have quick access to some important programs (eg: when i am using the screen as a writing tool -its touchscreen) on the rocketdock in the top right hand corner.

Yeah there is and in XP too, but I hate how it is in 7, There's no menu, just the buttons in the taskbar but they are annoying to me.

No, wait you can make it exactly like vista, just don't pin any programs to the taskbar...(i mean to unpin all programs first), First make a folder that will have all your favourite shortcuts then right click on the taskbar, go to toolbars and new toolbar. then browse for the folder with all your shortcuts and select it. Now you have your own quick access toolbar and you can drag stuff onto it too!!!
I hope you get what i mean.
Ill try and demonstrate myself...

really? Oh wow thanks for the tip, I'll have to try this out. Hopefully it will work, because I hate pinning stuff. They aren't even all to the left when I do that.

What i don't like about combining them all is that you can't really jump straight to the window you want, you have to hover over it and then choose. so i chose the 'combine when taskbar is full' option

I mean all to the left unlike in your screenshot, where the uTorrent icon isn't even completly to the left.

It's part of the Zune color mod. Let me see if I remember where I got the stuff from.

Ok, here we go (Oh yeah, you might want to scan these to make sure I didn't mess up anywhere):
First, get the official Zune theme and install it.

For Service Pack 2 or below

Then just go to Display Properties and click the appearance tab. Change theme to Zune and color scheme to whatever you want.
I hope I didn't mess up. Tell me how it goes. 

Oh, I don't remember if the Zune theme changes the text for the title bars, but if it does you can set them back to Trebuchet MS font 10.
