YES!!

My 4.5 month old bug is finally overcome!  Yes!
After I fix one small bug that crept up while fixing the one in the Ground Pound system, you guys get a screenie and more info.  Finally!

Hopefully I'll have that screenie for tonight. Grin

Huzzah! I can't wait! I very much enjoy your BASIC games, and I'm always happy to hear about bugs being squashed.

So, yeah, I have a blog now. Nothing special, just your average ghost town.

Spoiler for Projects:
Spoiler for Pokemon TI:
Map engine is going to be redone from scratch, since I was lacking in organization last time. With a project as big as Pokemon, planning and organization is key, so that will probably be the brunt of the work done on this project for the time being.

Spoiler for Nostalgia:
Being worked on. Nothing really new to put here, but it's being worked on.

Spoiler for Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack.

Spoiler for Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Currently on hold. I am unsure of whether this will remain DCS7 Hybrid BASIC or if it will use Batlib, Grammer or perhaps Axe.
This may see more progress once a demo of Nostalgia is released.

Thank you, Finale and Deep!  I'm glad you guys find this awesome. Cheesy

You have no idea how much this means, coming from you.  I still remember the first night I played Portal on the 83+ my sister now uses.  You've inspired this project more than you know as well.  Thanks. Smiley

Project Update!

My ground pound system finally works.  It doesn't take much code (~400 bytes), but it took a lot of work to code.  There were an incredible number of bugs to overcome, but that just makes the fact that it works even more awesome. Wink
Up next is making it so certain tiles can be ground pounded through. Cheesy

How are you doing maps? That doesn't look like normal Dual-Layer mapping...unless I'm just out of it Tongue

It's normal dual layering.  The character sprite isn't however, as it's just an X with additional stuff. Wink
This being said, soon I'm going to add something else to the maps that will not be normal dual layer.  I'm not going to say what it is yet... Azn

Nope.  It'll be done with the Line() command, but it's something that's sure to be cool. Cheesy

* ZTrumpet glances at Elmgon.

Anyways, I made it possible to ground pound through things.  No screenies at this point because, though it looks sweet, it does not actually represent much progress.

Oh...my bad Tongue I thought Elmgon just used normal Dual-Layers. I thought Serenity was the only thing that used shifted ones.

But glad to hear about the progress Smiley
