As of today DJ_O has decided to change his moderator role and will now only be posting news and making minor site updates. He will no longer take part in moderating decisions.
His decision to remove himself from moderating responsibilities has been due to an increased feeling of uselessness when it comes to what actions he has taken and from criticism by other members becoming too much. His health is also suffering so give him the best of wishes and lets do our best to fill the shoes that he has left in terms of moderating.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

I am sorry, I just couldn't take the complaints about what I do right now, nor ending up with the hate for a moderation action that was decided by more than just me. Now it seems like everything I do here as moderator is wrong and I am pretty much discouraged from performing any such action anymore. Since I feel worth nothing on that front, I decided to call it quit. I will still post news and some stuff, but I no longer need the pressure of participating into site moderation.

I already asked to be removed from IRC moderator 3 months ago, so now it's the site's turn. You guys'll have to report bad stuff to other staff, sorry.

I need to at least salvage what remains of my health and mind and not put myself forum moderation pressure and retaliations on my shoulders. I already am in bad condition mentally and to a lesser extent physically due to past events IRL and it is too late to do anything, but I would at least like to remain around as long as possible.

Well a lot of ppl helped me, in fact in the past few months most stuff was brought to me by other moderators or they already dealt with most stuff while I was offline. It's just that I myself can no longer sustain the job.

Good luck DJ, I hope you realize though, that you don't hav to feel obligatEd to come back as moderator once things calm down, it'll reduce pressure on you in the long run.  You could just post as a regular member.  Wink. And that way people can't criticize you for any moderating decisions.  Wink
