| Illusiat 12 now avaliable in english! |
May 8, 2005 |
Two and half a year later, Illusiat 12 is now avaliable in english. It is actually the largest homescreen RPG ever made so far. With over 30 hours of gameplay, it features a simple story with full of surprise, lot of weapons, nice battles and quite possibly the greatest ASCII animations around. If you are not too much busy with school exams make sure you check it out! :)

| Jake Finley causes Error 1337 |
May 4, 2005 |
As you might have noticed, the Earthforge server have been down for maintenance last week. Later some people got their IP blocked from access to this server after 3 attempt at logging in on the forums, including me. This blocked me ftp access from this website so I had to upload on the old server (that's why today you see news articles dating back from April 28th that weren't here before). Now everyone should be able to browse the server normally. However, as some people have reported, this downtime seems to have caused a strange error yesterday and today, which I got a few hours ago on the forums:
The origin of this error have been unknown until this afternoon, and later there was rumors saying that this could have been caused by Jake Finley (CrimsonCasio) post count, rapidly approaching 1000 on the forums. As evidence here the forums are still not fully stable but let's hope problems will not get worse when he will reach 1000 posts.

| Zelda: The Revenge of Ganon |
April 28, 2005 |
Tekkeitserktok from the Graph 100 forum is currently working on a new Zelda project for the Casio Graph 100 and AFX calculators.

So far you can only walk, enter the house and only the upper collision detection is done yet, but it features 4 level grayscale graphics (the screenshot program only support 3 level grayscale though so it should look a lot better on the real calculator) and it sound very promising. I added the project in the project section. A demo is currently avaliable here and you can check out for more info on the Graph 100 forum (in french):

Good news! Chances are very high that Omnimaga will stay with EPS forums. Some problems have been fixed so far. You'll notice that the forum URL doesn't change to an IP address anymore when you browse it, that's why the website was down yesterday and this morning. Now I only hope that the SQL database will not continue crashing constantly (we'll see on high traffic periods like friday during the evening). :)
