TI Z80 / Spencer Putt's Zelda Binary found
« on: October 09, 2015, 01:42:14 am »

I found these builds a while ago, and I am linking them here. I did not compile, code, create, or upload these. All work to Spencer Putt and possible Buckeyedude.

I think this one is most complete:
http://buckeyedude.s3.amazonaws.com/Zelda/zeldadungeon1.8xk

Boss fight:
http://buckeyedude.s3.amazonaws.com/Zelda/zeldabirdboss.8xk

Don't have a computer to test what these are, and I have forgotten exactly how far you can progress. The names should be self explanatory though.

TI Z80 / Super Mario 84
« on: October 08, 2015, 10:30:50 pm »
Crossposted from CodeWalrus ( https://codewalr.us/index.php?topic=761 )

For the last month after toying around in Axe for a bit of the summer, I started a Super Mario game. I think it's gotten to the point where I can finally post about it.

I aim for this project to beat Sam Heald's Super Mario 2.0, because it's been 16 years since its release and there should have been a better Mario game released since then.
*cough*Project M*cough*.

I am using screenshots from Project M to decide what features I should add.

Here are the features I have/plan to have

Done:
Horizontal Scrolling (duh)
On calc level editor
Animated blocks
Standard blocks
Standard powerups (eg: 1up, regular mushroom, fireflower)
Animated mario

Planned:
Wider enemy selection (currently only Goombas, planned: Koopas, bullet bills,
Better physics (If anyone could help me with this that'd be awesome)
Built in levelpack

Working on:
Vertical scrolling (nearly done, I really wish I had started this at the beginning of the project, just fixing bugs)

Maybe:
Racoon powerup
Yoshi (This is less likely)

Probably not happening:
Greyscale backgrounds.
Map like Super Mario Bros 3

Screenshots coming soon. If anyone has any questions just ask! Download will probably come shortly after screenshots.

Also, if anyone has a better name for the project I'd love to hear it.

Alright, so I've been working on a project for the last few weeks and today I broke the code execution limit for a program. I now try compiling it as an application but it breaks the program (loads wrong map, animations aren't working, enemies in the sky, etc, etc)

Can someone help me?

Edit: Axe Parser v 1.2.2

Computer Usage and Setup Help / ScummVM for iPodLinux
« on: August 05, 2015, 07:18:34 pm »

This probably isn't the best forum to ask this, but it's worth a shot.

I recently installed iPodLinux on my iPod Video 5.5g. Everything went smoothly and even though I had to use archive.org to get some programs, I ended up with everything I wanted except for ScummVM. The only build of ScummVM I was able to find was from 2006. This is a build without sound and a very very small list of compatable games.

If anyone could send me a copy of any version of ScummVM for iPod (source code or binary) it would be much appreciated.I'll post a list of links I found just in case they help someone for any reason.
Binary that works:

Binary.Links that don't work:

If anyone could send me a copy of any version of ScummVM for iPod (source code or binary) it would be much appreciated.

Minecraft Discussion / Others unable to connect to server
« on: April 06, 2014, 06:48:20 pm »
I have my minecraft server running on my old laptop, and it works fine, others can connect to it.

I wanted to a small survival server for just me and my friend, on my new laptop.

Others can't seem to connect, I port forwarded the same way I did on my old laptop, I make firewall exceptions, but no dice.

Computer Usage and Setup Help / Need computer help ASAP [FIXED]
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:47:30 pm »
About 5-6 months ago, I bought my Windows 8.1 laptop. I have been very satisfied with it.

Yesterday, I thought explorer.exe crashed, the taskbar dissapeared.

I tried starting it with cmd.It did not start.

I restarted, after logging in I got a black screen, if I open task manager, I can open the file browser, cmd everything.

If I try to open PC Settings (The basic Windows 8 settings menu) I get this box.

Explorer.exe Error! Unidentified Class!

Please help.

I plugged in my laptop into an outlet, and for an hour I used it I checked on the battery level, and it has stayed the same, the laptop thinks its charging. I have tried different outlets, with the same result, this laptop is only a few weeks old, and if I unplug it, the laptop doesn't turn off which it would do if it had a broken battery.

Windows 8.1 x64
8GB RAM
1TB Hard Drive
2.4Ghz Proccessor
Nvidia G755T 2Gb Video card

Does an appvar editor exist, that would be able to edit any appvar on the calculator created by another program without editing that other programs source code?

Portal X / Portal Prelude Fan Created Levels
« on: November 13, 2013, 10:05:06 pm »
Well, there is a level editor isn't there? This is like Portal, after you finish it, it is still fun, but you want more. I am currently working on a Portal level pack where you play as Caroline I'm wondering if anyone else has created any levels for us to use.
I will post the level pack when it is finished here.
