As the title says, vote on either having a 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm link cable! :)
Consider the options carefully.
2.5 mm = good old cable, also very small, TI-8x compatible, needs adapters for sound
3.5 mm = good cable, not TI-8x compatible, can have headphones = sound
Happy voting! :)

Headphones can be used with either actually, many cellphones use 2.5 or offer a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter. Just thought I would point that out. :)
-
True, but you still need an adapter :) Updated post, thanks! :D

Np :D

It depends of how you would use it. Do you want to make the calculator link with an actual TI-8x? If so, 2.5mm is a good idea. If not, 3.5mm would suffice, since the average person always have 3.5mm headphones lying around. (Personally, I don't have any 2.5 to 3.5 adapter or 2.5mm headphones :() But still, 2.5mm jacks is easy to find.

cough *put in both* cough

i say make the 3.5 standard, and then, for the few people who for some reason wish to link with a TI, explain how to obtain a 2.5 mm converter(or maybe have the option to include one in order for a bit more money?)

3.5. I've never found any 2.5 cables except the I/O cable.
-
3.5.
-
3.5 Definetaly, that way we only need an adapter for the weird stuff, as opposed to the normal stuff :P

3.5-cables are easier to find, and is compatible with headphones.
