So, does anyone read the naruto manga?

Yes. I'm not a huge fan though. I kinda felt like the last few chapters were a little meh, but I'd still like to see what happens next

edit: just read the latest chapter. Pretty epic, I gotta say ;)

Heck yes! I'm quite curious where this is going to go now :P Also, I'm curious how strong Madara is with a Sharingan and Rinnegan. Is Sasuke getting that too? I don't remember if they said or not, I was just confused when he had bandages over his eyes.

I think that to counter Naruto's new control over his Fox-demon powers, Sasuke will get the Rinnengan

That's what I was figuring, that it's to even the playing field, once again. But I couldn't remember if he was just getting a new set of Sharingans either.

he is getting the eternal mangekyou sharingan.  Right now, naruto would win hands down.  But, he has to save sausuke from the darkness, too.  It all depends on what masashi kishimoto decides to teach us.  But, sausuke has no way to live on without that darkness.  And, we would have millions of fans turn hateful if naruto just talked him out of it.  Nope, there's a fight to be had.  And a grand fight it shall be.

In my opinion, though, naruto has to defeat tobi/madara.  I am also thinking he's going to die in the end.  Basically, he is going to be crowned hokage after defeating madara or something.  Basically stopping the 4th ninja war.

I don't like how masashi is portraying him as an idiot just to be funny, though.  Naruto is so much smarter than that now.  But yeah, whatever. Long post.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Ya, there will definitely going to be another Naruto vs. Sasuke fight.

Well the whole thing with Sasuke and darkness is that he was hunting down Itachi without knowing the truth behind Itachi's secret mission to wipe out the clan. So to me it seems like Sasuke is more just lost in the darkness now and Madara is just manipulating him.

Ya, I think you're right about Naruto defeating Madara, though it could be both him and Sasuke too but I don't think he'll die. I think he'll become Hokage and it'll more or less end with that.

Masashi Kishimoto hasn't been portraying him as an idiot nearly as much now though. Not since the time skip, but it's definitely still there since that is who Naruto is.

Err yeah. Just a bit. Basically rasengan = a jinchuriki's ultimate attack just without the 8:2 ratio, and a whole lotta love. ;-)

Because naruto and the kyubi didn't get along with each other, naruto couldn't change into the kyubi, so he tried using a rasengan where he had access to the kyubi's chakra but wasn't the kyubi himself, and hence, it didn't work, but it was the same as the "menacing ball" that the bijuu use.

Wow. Keep reading. You only have like what, 400 more chapters?

I need to re-read it anyway, but I'm reading the 600 chapter one piece right now.

Yay for the anime finally getting to the hokage summit.  We get to see sasuke fight against danzo!!! woot!

Ok, so not that things are coming to a head between Naruto and Tobi and their fight, I feel we will know the true identity of Tobi soon enough. Before that though, I'd like to post my theory on who Tobi actually is, I've had this theory since the Shinobi war started. I'll put it in another spoiler for those that don't want to know yet.

Real short, Tobi is Obito Uchiha. Primarily, we see that the side of his mask without the eye hole is the same eye that Obito gave to Kakashi. Beyond the obvious similarity with hair, Uchiha, and similar name, there is one thing that utterly confirms this for me. Tobi has similar jutsu dealing with manipulating space/time as Kakashi can launch with his sharingan. We know from previous references that each individual Uchiha can have jutsu's unique to his or her sharingan. We even see in the latest episode that Tobi actually stopped Kakashi's jutsu, nullifying it with the same power.

There is also a small teaser in the last chapter. When Kakashi demanded for Tobi to remove his mask, he replied, "You don't remember faces well anyways" Implying that Tobi and Kakashi knew eachother.

Kinda spitballed together, but I wanted to say that somewhere before we actually know for sure :3
