Someone recommended me to add HDR to this picture. I was stood in a transmitter and weather station when I took this picture. I was on a hill and took a picture of the horizon from the hill.

First one blew my mind, the very picture becoming a vortex of color, energy, light and sound, pulling me deeper into it's core...

I wanna know how u did the first one.........
can the gimp do that stuff?
cause i know i can colorize and some other things, but can you do that?

Yes i made them in GIMP but i forgot how it was back in 2010.

Well..... this is the only community that likes that image everyone else who i've shown it to told me it wasn't very good and to try harder.

Wow this is a great collection of art. I tried to use GIMP a few years ago but it was a bit too complex, I use Paint.NET Regularly. However I know GIMP and Paint.NET are used for different purposes tho there is some overlap.

paint.NET is a lot basic than GIMP. Photoshop is the best tool to use but it's a lot more complex, can do more and costs money. Money that I don't want to pay for. lol

I was using Fireworks 8 for a while, but can't seem to get it to work in linux... it works on everyone's accounts but mine and I don't want to reset my WINE folder. Anyway, I use GIMP and find that it has a lot of the same functionality as fireworks... I just wish its default format was PNG. :P

Just as an head up, it's generally recommended to not double-post when you have posted less than a day ago (or a few hours ago in a project thread). Instead it's best to use the edit button. :)
