Before I put out a ridiculous request, I wanted to know the skill level of the artists here in drawing sketches and stuff.
So, like, for example, drawing a realistic-looking person.
If something like this is reasonable, I'll post my request here, otherwise, this topic can be deleted.

Well do you mean pixel drawing or like a legit drawing on paper or what?

Well, my request would be for something I could use online (as an avatar, actually), but I would want it to fairly detailed looking (so maybe a drawing on paper, then scan it?).

Have you checked out DeviantArt yet? They might have something you want or like.

I searched on google images, and it didn't really have what I'm looking for. Do DeviantArt images show up on google?

Some might but I doubt it. You'd have to search DeviantArt Directly. What is it you're looking for?

i love drawing portraits. i lack any sort of imagination, however, and so would need a reference.

Well, after several variations of my search on deviantART, I didn't really find what I was looking for. I'll put this out there and see what you all come up with.
So, this (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=Fang#/d1r3fi9) is the closest I came, so I'll use that as a base. The human part is good, but maybe show the rest of the legs. As for the wings, I would prefer bat/dragon wings. I'll see if I can find a good example.
So, I would like this to be my avatar, so it needs to fit reasonably in that space. I don't care if it's pencil or full color.
The character should be completely visible (no background and and limbs in drawing), and facing forwards, or a little turned to the right or left.
If anyone wants an extra challenge, try drawing a jacket on the figure.
If this is too hard, I apologize. This doesn't need to be perfect or prize-winning amazing.

well it looks fun to try at least although i have never tried to draw when not inspired.

oh um I'm pretty good (ish) and maybe I can work on this for you when I have some spare time :P I don't have anything on hand that I've drawn recently that I can post here tho :P

It really doesn't look that different, but I think it makes it looks clearer.

well I got a pen tablet for Christmas, and seeing as how I wasn't quite ever satisfied with it, I decided to redo it digitally ;) Let me know what you think

I used to really badly, and I actually have a few plotlines/drafts, etc. I might try it later on as a side thing (definitely going to take art classes in college). It's a split between that and some type of comp sci thing XD
I don't have a deviantart, but I will probably get one soon.
