Title: Dice
Post by: SirCmpwn on November 14, 2010, 03:49:43 pm
Hello,
I need every kind of die you would use in D&D, about 50x50-100x100, in full color please, with a transparent background.  I would be quite happy if you released it to the public domain when you are done, too :)
Thanks!

Dungeons and Dragons. It's a table-top RPG.
So you'd need a d4, d6, d10, d12, and d20. (A tetrahedron, a cube, I don't know what this one is called, a dodecahedron, and an icosahedron)

Yes, and a d8.  Numbers on all of them, please.  Also appreciated would be a d100, which is the sa.e as a d10, but with all the numbers multiplied by 10.

this is gonna take a while...  ;)

does it have to look cartoonish or reaalistic?

I don't particularly care.  The important part is the public domain part, or anything else that says I can use it commercially.

Oh, I forgot the d8 (octahedron). :-[
There's also this d100: (I dare you to sprite it readably! :P)

Perhaps this would be of help. I'm not entirely sure if you'd be able to use these, and unfortunately its creator (http://iconcubic.deviantart.com/) has been inactive for 180 weeks so contacting him/her is probably out of the question.

Those are absolutely amazing!  They would be perfect!  I wish the creator would become more active!

Yeah it looks like no one is interested or no one got ideas or time X.x

You may have to wait in June, me thinks, when everyone will have finished school.

I'm making a Windows Phone 7 application for tabletop gaming.

Phew, no pix on the mobile version.  Tabletop games like D&D or MTG.

Cheater D:

And I see, sounds cool. Are you gonna post screenshots/progress here in case some people got a Windows 7 phone too? (I doubt it since most people here are iPhone/Android fans but we never know)

Ah ok, so no progress being posted on Omni/Ceme? :(

That said I hope it kinda sells well. How much do you have to pay to develop/keep your stuff there?

$100 to get it up, but students supposedly can have that fee waived.  I still haven't figured out where to go to find out how :P

I see. Is it a one time fee or is it yearly? On Xbox live I think it's yearly, so it kinda sucks if your game fails to sell well :/

I can't recall.  I think it's yearly, but they won't take down existing apps.
