These are the sprites I was using in Ender's Game, then Defilers- but I've changed the theme yet again and designed a whole new sprite sheet. So you're all welcome to any of these sprites, just make sure you credit me.

Some are 7x7, some 15x15, and a few larger- I made them these sizes rather than 8x8 and 16x16 to allow for a 9x9 and 17x17 cursor around the sprites, you'll understand if you use those cursors. They're all spaceships of various sorts, in all different angles, as well as the cursors and the missile launching animation.

Nah, "kin" is an english word meaning those related to you. In Tolkien mythology, Fingolfin (my Omnimaga RPG character, and the guy in my avatar) helps his half-brother Feanor slay the people of Alqualonde, their kinsmen, when they wouldn't give them their ships. my new signature is a quote from a Blind Guardian song describing Fingolfin's march to war against Morgoth.
As for the sprites, no, there are no buildings, as the game was (and still is) intended to take place entirely in space.

I like those sprites. With that cursor, wouldn't you have to use 14x14 and 6x6 sprites???

The file is only 70 kilobytes, I don't see why it should slow down your DSL connection. It doesn't slow mine down and I have the slow, basic DSL (768kbits download, 128kbits upload). Maybe you have a slow computer? Anyways, dragon_lance and anyone else is absolutely free to use these sprites in any way shape or form, so long as I am credited.

My stupid geocities account keeps running over its bandwidth limit. I've set up a freewebs account, and moved that image there. It should work fine now.

On a side note about webspace as a christmas present AlienCC from UTI increased all UTI members/UTI retired members webspace from 100 MB to 500 MB and bandwidth from 100 MB to 500 MB as well O_O

. Thats for those who alerady had a website hosted here tho, all future acounts will have 100 MB diskspace/bandwidth :psychedelic:

@Kevin - no, this will not interfere with any current projects, but come after them (right now, I'm booked for large games until next year o.o)
