Here's a mock-up show casing some mega man sprites that I've been working on. Double size for better viewing. Enjoy. =)

It's Not for anything yet, I'm just doing some spriting at the moment. Who knows, I may eventually attempt something myself.

Ah ok. Some people might find them useful at one point. Sometimes we have the urge to make a game, but no sprites. :(

I also thought some time ago about making some sprites and titlescreens for megaman (II). The sprites are even smaller (8x8) and look like... well... look for yourself. Titlescreen and stuff is a bit more pretty (I had a casio calc in mind, therefore a resolution of 128x64). Like Art_of_camelot im not working on a megaman related project.

@Yeong:Thanks. I had a couple at 16x16,and one at 18x18(before I realized he was still to big:P) but that was the one i decided on. I finished a lot of the sprites from Airman's level last nite. I'm gonna continue on them tonite when I get home. @Horrorwind:Some of those are really nice. You're brave for attempting to scale them to 8x8. That would have been really difficult! >.< Just FYI, 128x64 is the same resolution as Texas instruments discontinued TI-86 model. =]

Actually I had all but the wiggler completed a while after I posted the screenie, I just didn't feel like updating it since I only had the wiggler left. :P So anyhow.. Update!
These are for the most part done, but I may do some retouching on one or two them later to make the look a bit more polished.

Yea, that's an enemy from Megaman II called an Air Tikki. You can walk on his head, but the horns damage you if you touch them. He also spews out Gremlins (the enemies to the right of him on the sprite sheet)from the sides of his head while you are standing on it, So it isn't a good idea to linger on him too long.

*Edit* I guess his fluffy cloud afro does look kind of bouncy  ;D lol.

*Edit* I did a bit of reworking on Knight man and I have to say I am extremely pleased with the results. He looks ready to bash in some Mega skull now! >:D I know robots don't usually grow, but Knight man seems to be an exception. He grew two pixels taller!, and I less than a day!  O.O Must be something in the oil... I knew I shouldn't have imported it... anyhow... Here's a comparison with the new sprite on the right.

Thanks, I'm glad you like them. ^^ To be fair though, these are just downsized and re-worked from pre-existing sprites used in the older Megaman games. I've seen a couple of your topics. I don't usually do spriting for those type of devices though, as they are outside my area of interest. Perhaps I'll have some inspration, we shall see. =)

In regards to my Mega man sprites, I intend to resume work on them shortly. :D

*Edit* Since my last post, I believe Knight man has shrunk. His head was too big, so I had to shrink him a bit. :P I'll probably post updates later tonight or tomorrow.

Well, the screen of what I use is basically the same. It's just like doing spriting for the TI-84. So maybe you could make some sprites for me....

Even if you did just shrink the megaman sprites, they are still good because I am horrible at doing anything with sprites. I am just horrible at it.

Attached pic shows Knight man's slightly revised look. Top right sprite is the newest revision, middle was previous revision, top left was the original. Bottom sprite is his next animation frame.

I got introduced to Mega Man only recently, and I'm like, "What on earth did I miss?"  Although my favorite sprites are those from the NES games

Nothing new really, but here's the resized title logo I did a while back. I just never got around to posting it. Also, an NES style font set. I believe this is also posted in <a href=http://ourl.ca/17785> Sorunome's Reuben Quest thread</a>. Anyone is free to use the font set if they like. Credit would be nice. :)

This should be the default xLIB CSE fonts :P (although it depends if tr1p1ea will use 8x8 or something smaller)
