Hi,
I need some sprites for some games I am making(might add some sprites into the games)
OK, heres the list:
1) A 16x16 monochrome thwomp from Mario
2) A 16x16 monochrome unstable bridge that can be looped(I mean it will look like a long bridge if I put a row of them)
3) 16x16 rocks that can be looped.
4) 16x16 monochrome Dry Bones(Koopa version).
I posted a very short video of the mario game.

It is for a Mario game for the Lego Mindstorms NXT and other games and stuff.
Thanks, and have a nice day,

The more detail you can give your Spriters the better. It'd also be nice to know what platform/format you need.
-
100x64? are you certain you want that? the calc screen size for the 84+ is 96x64 ;)
-
Hey nxtboy III,
As a suggestion, I think you should make a thread about the games you're making, as it might encourage people to actually make stuff for you -- not that many people (myself highly included) would make beautiful mountains just because when we might not even see them again or even get credit when you don't release your game here. No offense, but I'm sure a few people may have been ticked off (not me, personally though) that they made some sprites for you before and they were never really used for anything (and if they were, the game they were used for was never posted here).
However, don't think I'm wishing you bad luck, I'm just giving you suggestions that will help you help get people to help you :) (paradox!)

I just edited the post. It is fine if it is 96x64.
This game is not for a calculator but has a monochrome screen. It is for the mindstorms nxt platform(sorry guys for ticking you off).
-
Mindstorms, eh? Interesting. Are you using the drag-and-drop default language or are you planning on going more in-depth?
-
I am using NXC. It is a C-like language. Very similar to C. It stands for "Not eXactly C".
Drag-and-drop language is too limited and the compiled programs (.rxe) take up a ton more space than compiled NXC programs.
-
Ah... I see. You needed the sprites and stuff for that, then, and not a calc game.
Now I can see why you didn't post a project ;)
-
I'm glad you understand ;)!
Anybody interested in creating it?
-
I wish I could help, but I'm on a PSP. Best of luck, though! It's always exciting to see someone working with such an unorthodox platform.
-
Thanks. :)
Anybody else?
Does anybody want me to post the game or a video or both?(The video makes the game look very flickery)
-
More information is always better! :D
-
Here's a clipart-style image, not sure if this is the kind of thing you were looking for.
-
Wow, that looks nice! Now the mountains just need to not be so thick and have more detail and have a battlefield with swords on the ground and it will be perfect! Thanks! (JustCause: What do you mean more information?)

Oh no worries, I'm just making sure that we all know where our work is going :) I actually once used Not eXactly C before in FTC robotics to cheat erm... embed a chunk of code into normal Robot-C code since it had a whole set of functions I needed and was too lazy to write.
Good luck! :D

Thanks! :)

More information = more stuff about your game. The more we know, the more we can help.
-
I added more info. Just look at main post.
-
bump
-
I added some sprite requests to the main topic.
Thanks,
nxtboy III

I tried my hand at a crumbling bridge. Let me know if it works. :)
-
That looks nice!
But maybe you could remove the supports?
Thanks
-
How does this look?
-
I meant with no support for the bridge, so it's basically a line. But thanks!
EDIT: I added more sprite requests
-
How does this look?
Is that the same image you posted before? Either way, I really like the bridge detail :)
-
I also need a 16x16 monochrome Dry Bones(Koopa version).
-
I posted a very short video of the mario game in the main post. Really it has way more tiles and such and koopas and falling rocks.
-
is the tearing present on the device itself (ie, the lcd updates are triggered during interrupts) or the recording method you used to make the image (data is grabbed from the buffer at set intervals which don't line up with when the buffer is fully updated)? oh, and are masked sprites not possible for the NXT?
i like the way this looks.
-
THis is nice. What is "Center Button", though?

On NXT Bricks, there are two grey arrows, a back button, and an orange button referred to as the center button.
-
Ah ok. I missed the part about NXT bricks in his post.
-
Oh, that's cool, so a game on a robotics control brick that has nothing to do with robotics. :D
also, I edited your first post to fix Xeda112358's nick since you had xedall2358. ;)
-
well, here's an attempt at the drybones...
