Optical Illusions
« on: April 15, 2011, 04:51:51 am »
Since the avatar thread was getting full with these sort of things I creates this thread to post stuff like this:

When it's inverted, you must focus at the black dot. When the grayscale picture comes, it looks like ts in color.

That's really cool. You should move the other ones on the Avatar thread here as well.

Very nice. Did you boost the inverted color saturation? Doing that usually helps the effect.

Here's one of mine:

Nice. I tried another one. I used this to make it: http://www.johnsadowski.com/color_illusion_tutorial.html

Wow that is nice. Make sure to either zoom in (for example, 200% on a 1920x1080 res) or look very closely for better results. I tried with all 3 pictures and it worked with the first one and even more the 3rd one. I couldn't get it to work with the 2nd picture, though. Maybe the dot was too big?

Wow that makes it a LOT better! I got it to work with the second one too. Great observation, DJ_O!

I see it by the 2nd one , but it isn't so noticeble(because I'm colorblind?) because it's not such a colorfull picture(I think).

Ah maybe that's why. The two other ones are more colorful in general.

These are cool. I like the color ones, although it is also nice to see some other kinds (I especially like the swirly ones). One that I remember is fun is the cursive "Liar" that turns into a man in sunglasses when you turn your head sideways.

I like these. I didn't see anything happen with the 2nd one, though. With the first the dots you're not looking at seems black and in the 3rd one the circles seems to be rotating slowly.

All of those are amazing. Seen some of them before, but ... wait, are they moving? O.O

And that's a lot of [img] tags in that first spoiler there XD

Yay for google :P

Found some more...
Spoiler For big:
First, follow the changing dots. They stay pink.  Now focus on the + in the middle, and at the same time observe what happens on the outside.

Parallel or crooked?
