Title: photoshop project critique
Post by: Snake X on March 03, 2011, 09:37:37 pm
This is one of my better photoshop project's im working on atm in computer assisted art and I wanted your opinions on it. The whole thing is 3000 x 3000 so ill link it intsead of [img]  :-X
This is of a recycling collage that im working on and our assignment was to make a project to address an issue relating to the environment and a solution to that issue, and I chose recycling. The rules are also that you have to make EVERYTHING yourself including the pictures, so this is what I did. :D

Not bad.  i wouldn't go with the random red/greeen/blue squares.  Not the best photoshopping I've seen, but then again, I've seen real life photoshopped objects (http://xkcd.com/331/).  But in all seriousness, I think it looks pretty good.  I like the car tires in the recycle symbol.

It looks pretty cool, though I think it might help if you get a image of a recycle symbol though and then overlay the pictures onto that instead of try to make one. Yours isn't bad, it just looks a little off since each arrow doesn't look the same. Also, it might look kind of cool if you like emphasize the line that turns the arrow (and make it look like the picture wraps around and comes out, if that makes any sense). Good luck on it though.

That looks nice, although I'm not too much into such kind of image editing, so I can't really help much. I think the arrows should probably look exactly the same, though.

yeah thats the problem.. I dont think the logo that I took to outline was exactly that even.. either that or I outlined it badly. Im 100% sure it was the latter and I made sure that the brush fit the edges of the outline of the recycling logo so ???

hey, that looks really nice! I like how you implemented the pictures into the recycling symbol.  I don't use photoshop, but I know it's hard work that went into that, and all I can say is: bravo!

... and you sir deserve a gold star.
