Title: Pokemon Sprites
Post by: SirCmpwn on September 30, 2010, 05:26:11 pm
Hello!
I'm looking for some Pokemon sprites, just a few random Pokemon (pick your favorites).  I need them in monochrome, and they should fit on about 1/4 of the TI-83+ screen.  Don't worry, I'm not making a game, I'm just doing a demo.  If it's not too much trouble, a program with the sprites in Axe bitmap form would be great!

I believe there is a thread over at UTI of all of JoeYoung's sprites. I'll look real fast.

The most important thing is the Axe hex, because I can't do that myself at the moment.

Glad to hear it is just a demo x.x. You would do a very good job at such game too, but the reality is that there are so many Pokemon clones in the works already. A growing lack of originality in the community could cause people who are looking for new projects to lose interest due to everything being done being the same.

Well here (http://www.unitedti.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=8904&view=findpost&p=141751) is the post of what he has. If you tell me which ones, if any, of those you would like I can probably get the hex for you.

Which frame do you want? Each of those Pokemon have three frames for animation.

Just the first is fine :)

Ok, I shall work on those real fast.

Edit:
Here is the hex for Bulbasaur. The sprite isn't actually 32*32 (it's actually 30*28) but the hex is in the format for 32*32. If that's an issue, just tell me. By the way, it's in the form of a string (Str1).

I take that back, it is now in a program with quotes because apparently the string extension isn't supported, which I thought it was.

Edit:
And here is Charmander.

Yeah, could you re-do Bulbasaur?  The program is empty :P

Oh, sorry, I did't see that. Sorry. I shall try to get it.

Edit:
Grrr...Wabbit isn't exporting the program correctly :(

Edit:
Ok, here is a .zip with the string in it. If you need the program form though I'll get it for you but until you say I am just going to post this. It should be Str1.
