I'm making a chess game for the nspire in lua, and every time i make sprites for chess pieces well umm they look like crap. Would someone be kind enough to make some sprites for me?
P.S.
I almost forgot: It can be in 16 bit color(15bit + 1 alpha channel)
Edit:
I need larger chess pieces. I was able to make my chess board bigger!
-
Color or grayscale?
-
Color, but maybe use colors that would look good in grayscale for the non cx nspires.
-
I will make them in color in a way that when viewed in grayscale they look fine. Will edit when done.
Edit: Done!
attached.

Is it just me or are the rooks 15x16?

Always glad to help. I just did a pic for flyingfisch after I posted that!

Look at my edit above ^

It's just you. I checked.
-
weird, for some reason i had to edit the rook and make it 1 px wider to center properly. Whatever, thanks for the pieces!
-
Bump, i now need larger chess pieces *.*
-
I think it will look better wiht a 20x20 board along with 16x16 pieces if you ask me.
I'll work on it twomoro. Gnite!
-
Hmm, i was under the impression that bigger is better! 26px squares with 24px pieces or 20 px squares with 16px pieces.
-
26 with 24. I'll get on it soon.

Those look pretty nice. I can't wait to see a game that uses them. Chess games for calc are always good.
-
Thanks! I can't wait, either. Even though I don't have an nSpire.

Look above for the fixed white pawn background. And what do you mean my brown shades?
-
make the board wood instead of marble. It isn't hard. I can do it real quick if you just send me the pic of the board :)
-
the board is dynamic now, just give me the rgb colors :D
