Title: Sprites! YAY!
Post by: tifreak on March 22, 2006, 10:33:00 am
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html

I will be using the non animated icons. :)smile.gif

I will probably be putting them first on paper, then converting to hex as I take time to work on and hopefully finish some of my other smaller projects...

No, Umm, that is the actual sprites, take a look at the icons, they are in the ruby/saphire links. :)smile.gif They are a bit smaller... And I only need the ones that are originally in the game, not the others...

If someone were to help with the b/w conversions, and send me the hex codes of them, that would be superb!! :)smile.gif

I am only using the original 151, but those are not in the correct order... To see them in order, check out the animated icons...

the sprites are 32*32, the screen 96*64:
6 pokemon per pic.

26 Pics are needed. That fits :)smile.gif

If I don't have enough memory for this, I'll probably get rid of everything on my calc.

After this will you do Bronze? (Gold/Silver)

I dunno, maybe. It would be just mainly be adding data, the engine itself would be re-used...

i see, thx for the info

I hope most are similar to others I am wondering how tifreak8x will be able to pack 600 attacks and even animations together O_Oshocked2.gif

Well, the thing with the attacks is that almost every pokemon can use them. So he could have like 200 attacks and every pokemon can use them except the bird types can't use swim. or w/e.

That is correct. :)smile.gif

I plan on having the game look at a program that will contain all the move names, so I can just store the move # to a list for reference. And now I have a good idea on how to store the data, which is one of the things I plan on setting up next, given Star Trek is completed fairly soon, and TI-City is updated. :)smile.gif
