Title: The Knight splash screen

Hi,

I need a 100x64 monochrome title screen for a game I am making called The Knight. All it needs is the words "The Knight" in a cool font and some pictures of knights with orcs in the background and also some snakes in the background and maybe a castle.

Do you mean 96x64? Because that's the size of the screen. Unless, of course, you are doing some sort of scrolling or clipping action.

EDIT: And do you want the whole screen filled up with stuff, or do you want space for a menu?

I dont mean 96x64. I mean 100x64(96x64 works). I don't want space for the menu, the only words needed are the title of the game, which is "The Knight"

Grayscale or black and white? What level if grayscale.  What platform are you developing this for?

Monochrome actually means greyscale in real life :P grey vs. color, monochrome means no hues.

Technically, monochrome could be any color, so long as it's only shades of that one color. For example, the red channel in a picture is monochrome. And how fancy/big do you want this font? Do you want block letters or lines?

The calc's resolution is 96x64, unless you're on an 85 or 86....if so, then you've got 128x64

Here's a pic, unfinished since I suck at drawing living stuff. Feel free to alter it in any way!

I personally think you should make a topic for your project, because whilst I am sure that you're not just trying to mooch pictures, it might seem to others that you are. ;)

Also, remember to put everyone's names who contributed content in the credits, since they gave you a lot.  I remember some people who received tons of sprites and stuff to use, and left out the names from the credits -- he was later known around the calc community as a cheat and loser.  So, don't forget to do this, because thats one of the few things the calc community utterly shuns above all else -- so just remember and you'll be fine :)

Well, I suck at drawing stuff :P I can draw castles, but not orcs X(
