I was wondering if calc84maniac would care to explain/release his mode 7 engine? :)
-
I was hoping the same thing
-
It is insanely cool, and I want to make Mario Kart :)

I refer you to JimE. http://www.revsoft.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=14409#14409 (http://www.revsoft.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=14409#14409)

But if I recall correctly, you were talking about halting F-Zero X. I hope that if you decide to forget Mode 7 entirely, you won't keep the code for yourself and let no one use the engine simply because you're not using it :D

Actually, I was going to change it into a Kirby racing game. But I'm not sure anymore, idk

I hope you don't kill the project Calc84maniac, regardless of if it remains F-Zero or not :/
-
^++, it looks awesome, a 3D racing game would be the shit.
-
Not to mention I've been waiting for F-Zero for almost 2 years now (since this incarnation of Omni started) :P
-
I don't want it to die! D= I can't wait for you to work on it again calc84! :)

Also, I'm in the process of creating a mode7 axiom for Axe Parser which is certainly fast enough for a simple 3D racing game. It's based off of JimE's code, but I've made it much more optimized. I've done about half of it so far, but I'll finish it around the time I finish implementing the Axioms.
-
It would be cool! WIll it be easy to use in our Axe programs (like using a bunch of arguments and calling the routine, such as we do with other Axe commands)? It would be cool to mess around with :)
Would it be monochrome, though?

Sweet!

Right on! That sounds so awesome :D
