Title: input in axe?

hi, is there a way to use the input fonction of basic (ask a number or a text to the user and store it in a variable) in axe?

There actually used to be an Input command built in Axe, right? I don't remember if it was removed due to the bug it had?

afaik its still there though I haven't used it for a super while.
the syntax used to be input->pointer

It seems like it doesn't work properly on OS 2.53MP, though (or maybe it's just with PolyPatch installed):
