Title: CAS for Prizm?
Post by: [email protected] on February 11, 2013, 10:45:08 pm
I would be grateful if someone made a CAS program for the Casio Prizm (simplify something like 3x+5x to 8x). TI has a CAS nSpire accepted on SATs and stuff so CAS is allowed on many tests. Thank you in advance if someone does make this.

Making CAS is said easier than done, it takes a very long time, so it is rather unlikely somebody will do it, especially because the prizm community isn't so big, sorry.

I bet standardized tests (like the SAT) would require that you clear your calc prior to the test. Hence, the 3rd party CAS would get deleted anyway. :(

Yeah that was my concern with a CAS. That said, if the CAS isn't built-in the OS, then the teacher might just check the add-in menu and tell you that you cannot use the calculator unless the CAS is deleted first.
