I found you can do that either with Insight or by doing this (http://prizmwiki.omnimaga.org/wiki/Factory_test) and this setting even survives reboots (well at least the menu setting, not a lot of stuff changes this, for the border it disappears more quickly because lots of stuff changes this setting).
I found it pretty cool to change the menu colors (personalization lol). (And yes DJ_O this is what I showed you last time.) Also Insight can draw in the border, I wonder what are the syscalls to do both the color changes and the drawing thing.
-
so where do you change the color at? what menu?

I had seen these options some time ago, however I only tested in the emulator

I can confirm they work on a real one. And it survives reboots. (I didn't had my Prizm handy so I didn't gave much details...)
-
WOrks too on calc, but... (I don't like this option, because the colors are too flashy IMO)
-
BTW, I forget what its called now, I think it was something like Draw_Fkey, but it had some interesting option I was never able to figure out. there may be a color select capability there.
-
Iirc Insight is open-source, so you can look inside of it and find the calls somewhere in there.
-
Where do you get Insight? dl link?

By the way it would be nice if someone like Juju could make an add-in that let us change the colors easily, like the theme modifier on the Nspire. That's assuming, of course, those changes are permanent until reboot.
Also I believe that Insight is in the Casio PRIZM documentation thread, attached to some posts. Just check the topic list in Casio PRIZM hacking discussion, then click the small icon next to the pin one or check here http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=topicattach;topic=5610

Hm, now this makes me wonder just how much stuff can be changed. Might a theme editor be possible? 0.o
-
Hey, this is pretty cool. I'll have to check it out. :)
-
Blue isn't too flashy of a color...
EDIT:
also, the color scheme survives reboots. :D

I got Insight and it's just a bunch of gibberish that I don't know how to navigate. How do I change the color (step by step keypresses)

I would like this too.
