4.   In Statistics, enter the following table of values into List 1:
44   38   22   46   60   57
58   53   44   33   42   48

a.)   Create a Med-Box (Box and Whisker) Plot.  The screenshot should display the Med-Box plot and the value of Q3, using the Trace function.
b.)   Find the mean, standard deviation, Q1, median, and mode of the data.

c.)   What is the smallest integer value (greater than 45) that you could add to the data list in order to create an outlier?  What impact does the outlier then have on the mean and median?

I'll give you hint with 4c.
Outliers can be found with this formula:
Outlier > 1.5(Q3-Q1)+Q3 or
Outlier < 1.5(Q3-Q1)-Q1

mostly most problems with PRIZM can be solved by fiddling with F1~F6. Try those first.

I have submitted my assessments. And I didn't not know what the outlier was !_! I thought it meant more than 3 standard deviations away from the mean D:

I think they will be kind of forgiving on the assessments...they just want to see that you could figure out how to get to certain stuff and perform certain functions

iirc, if you miss something, they just tell you and you resubmit. Also, they give you the hint as well.

Send them to a friend? :D

It doesn't say 'one per household' anywhere on the web page or the course ;)

Wow, their customer service really is pretty good. They actually seem to respond to these assessment emails manually (specifically addressing my questions).

Reminds me of this XD

Well maybe it changed, because when I reported the BASIC Locate bug, it took months before getting a reply :P

Maybe they want to give people a good first impression (since people doing this course have likely never used a Casio calculator).
