For the love of god, why would do that? Why would I leak the answers of a contest?Don't worry. it was because another Omni member actually provider the answers to the questions, allowing anyone with access to the private matters board to cheat, and since the staff didn't do anything about it at the time (probably because they did not realize how bad it was), it seemed like they supported that member's move. This was since dealt with and Netham45 removed the files in question.
I respect Casio, and I thanked Nathan to answer me politely (poliment, don't have the word in English), and voila, if i can't, then I can't!
I'll not leak the answers, I'll just do them!
Ps: I have remade three or four times this post, just say if it's again aggressive, I don't want to be a cheater, and more a Leaker!

It's not like I wouldn't be able to answer them on my own..just I'm busyThat is definitely cheating :/ I am pretty sure they wouldn't be happy with that. Keep in mind, this is a promotional thing. They want to teach people how to use their calculators and the whole process works very well, actually. The main thing they want is to see if we can learn how to use their calculators and more importantly abuse their functions. They want us to think critically about tasks which is perfect for us because we are programmers-- we do this all the time.

I have now forwarded it along to our shipping department. I got mine today, without having checked back to see if it's shipped. It's pretty exciting.
FX-cg manager on edu.casio.com. However it's a 90 day trial. The full version costs $199.99.The emulator costs more than the calculator? O.O
Yeah, I wish z80man was still around so he could have finished his Casio emulator X.x. The one Casio made apparently has troubles with certain add-ins. It's kinda like Flash Debugger in the way it's not very compatible with the real calc, but it's a bit less of a fake emulator than TI Smartview and TI-Nspire Student Software are, since those two can't even run any native language applications.
Really? It seemed like he was gonna retire completely because he hasn't posted for 2 months and from what I recall, two admins said he was probably either gonna resign from Omnimaga or get demoted for inactivity (per CoT/admin policies, they have to keep their post rate to 10 or above for a period of 30 days.)
Ey! For cg10, we should try override the os like with Graph35+!The OSes of cg10 and cg20 are identical. The differences in behaviour are controlled by calculator-type specific branches inside of the OS. The calculator-type information (a few bytes) is stored inside of the bootcode. But it should be possible to neutralize the branches.

I told a friend about this, and he submitted some assessments, then told another friend about it. That other friend tried to email his assessment to Casio, but apparently his email got rejected O.O Maybe Casio's ending the promotion...Maybe they ran out of supply?

A few people might also have CFX calculators, which already supported colors since 1995. They might be able to get used to Prizm BASIC even faster since it's rather similar.
Make sure to populate the general Casio section of Omni with BASIC tricks once you find them. :D
Erm no I never said that. I meant that some forum members and members of other Casio sites most likely already own old CFX calcs since years ago or got them on Ebay, since back when they were still in production (1995-2003) they were very popular.

This is a quick note to clarify that if you've already received a note asking you to choose between the Prizm calculator and the software then you're still able to receive that calculator. We've had such a demand for the calculator in the past several weeks that I already assumed you would choose it (and wanted to let everybody know ASAP so as few people as possible would be caught high and dry at the end).

Hey, sorry that wasn't clear. Here's the situation... I had about 20 submissions and only the first 5 were able to receive Prizms (because we ran out). So I sent a private email to ONLY those 5 to let them (you) know that the "I ran out of Prizms" didn't apply to them. You still have one coming (in fact, I'm processing submissions right now).
But I needed to send out the response ASAP to keep people from getting ticked off about not getting a calculator; I know the calculators are a lot more popular than the software and it would be uncool to string people along.
