Interesting discoveries in the updater (fxASPI/OSpdateDLL)

Today, I tried to find out how the Prizm is updated and I extracted OSUpdateDLL.dll and fxASPI.dll (this DLL can also be found with the screen receiver) from the installer.

Using Nirsoft's

Heya and welcome to the forums by the way. :D Also interesting find. Some people have been wondering what's hidden in this incredibly large OS update executable, because on TI-8x calcs, an OS update file is often under 1 MB size and we didn't find the 10-11 MB size justified.

Probably, although the thing is even the FX-9860G updaters were almost as large too, and the 9860G/Graph 85 barely use any artwork, being a monochrome calc. It seems they put a lot of other stuff in the update executable or the OSes are just not optimized well (kinda like the TI-Nspire OS 2.1).
