A suggestion I already made to Kerm on Cemetech: an accesskey for OmnomIRC! I'd suggest I since it's usually not used.
-
What, like an API key so people can query it? I've had something in the works for an API key for a while, I just haven't finished it.
-
Oh no, just put something like accesskey="i" onto the input tag so it focuses when the user presses Alt+I.

-
Well yeah that's easy to implement.
-
Aha, okay, I was thinking of something totally different.
Done?
-
I checked the inspector, and it hasn't been added ???
-
I added I for the input box and O for options. Maybe you need to refresh/clear cache?
-
ctrl+i for me is page info could we make it something else?
-
It may not be ctrl+i depending on the browser you use. The wiki link Deep posted ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Access_key ) has the table for all the browsers.
If it still doesn't work in your browser, lemme know and I can change it.

Works for me :)
-
Not for me? I use Chrome 13 for Linux.
-
Its not working for me. I use Firefox 4 for Ubuntu 11(well I'm using mint 11 but the FF was made for ubuntu 11)
-
I'm using FF5 in XP and ctrl+I opens the bookmarks thing :P
Alt+Shift+I works, cool :D
-
It only works after I focus the OmnomIRC area, which kinda defeats the point... I'm blaming the fact that it's in an IFRAME.
Edit: in Chrome 12.

It's always Alt (or Alt+Shift in some cases), never Ctrl.

I used Fx5 for Mint 10 and it worked. No idea why it wouldn't work for you. Is the thing non-hidden and activated? Also was the key combination you used shift+alt+i?
-
Due to each browser handling access keys in their own poor fashion, there's not much we can do to guarantee universal support.

How do I check if its non-hidden/active?
That was the key combination I used

Make sure it's not hidden ( so Omnom is actually showing on your screen and not the tiny little bar thing. )

Yeah I see omnom and was using it before I tried this

-
Yeah I see omnom and was using it before I tried this
Have you cleared your cache since Netham45 added it?
