Title: New Omnimaga IRC Bot
Post by: Netham45 on April 03, 2010, 10:50:29 pm: I just made a new IRC bot that updates new posts to IRC.

It checks the latest post RSS feed every 15 seconds, and when the URL of the latest post changes, it assumes there's been a new post.

It then retrieves the page and extracts both the title of the page(which is the title of the thread), and the last poster.

But

I still need a name for the bot D:

gimme some names! :D

Btw awesome :D just make sure the bot has speed throttling so it won't overload the omni server nor get kicked for excess flood on IRC when it's 8 PM on week days :P
