As Darl181 reported here (http://ourl.ca/10984/208447), the OmnomIRC logo seems to appear in different places for different browsers. For FF and Chrome it's on the left:

while in Opera it shows up in the center (according to DJ this is the correct position), and in IE it doesn't show up at all, with just the text "OmnomIRC" in its place in the center:

Not that big of a deal at all, but can this be fixed?

IMHO, it would look best if the pic in the first screenie went where the text is in the second. That could be just me, though.
Maybe a poll?

That's what DJ_O said should be happening: having the logo img in the center of the title bar.

I kinda like it on the side, it gives an "old-school" feel-ish. :P

It's supposed to be in the middle. Netham45 might not have checked cross-browser compatibility for this javascript (besides JS, the only other way to use HTML inside title bars is by editing the title directly from the database, but this messes up the admin CP pretty bad.). He might want to fix it.

It definitely should be in the middle. I wonder how it got replaced by text in IE

It's text by default. In browsers that support it (browsers that work), Javascript replaces it with the image, apparently. I'm guessing it's to get around EzPortal limitations?

what are EzPortal limitations?

EzPortal is the content-management system Omni uses (it's like Drupal), I think.

Why couldn't you just write it all in HTML? is that the EzPortal limitations/ or do I just not know much about HTML

I would like it if it was remade to take up the whole space.

The problem with that might be how different monitors have different dimensions.
It might go off the side or something.

couldn't you just set omnom to be a certain size and have it fit with that?

If the Omnom box were just a small box floating in the middle of the page, wouldn't it look odd?

Yes everything else on Omnimaga changes size based off window dimensions so it is important that omnomIRC takes that into account. And I don't mind really if the picture is centered or on the left. Both look as if they could be correct. And with IE, I kinda saw it coming :P

In HTML, the box would need to be added to the 6 forum themes. Basically, everytime an OmnomIRC update was made, Netham45 would need to edit it six times.
The limitation of EzPortal is that the titles for ezblocks (such as "OmnomIRC") cannot contain HTML. THe HTML code just won't get parsed at all. It is possible to force HTML into it via the MySQL database, but this screws up the EzPortal admin panel greatly.
EDIT: Btw the logo is gone, now, since it was on a temporary host. You should upload it to the images folder.
Also before it vanished, in IE9 it showed up fine like in Opera.

Yea, the EZPortal admin page looked like someone had played asteroids on it when I put it right into the SQL DB as the contents.

As for the logo placement issue I hope this isn't something due to not being possible to center it in Chrome/FF though, else it might be best to just leave it to the left. Else, middle. It should be at omnimaga.org/images tho (not /screenshots/)
