I pushed a fair number of OmnomIRC updates today.
Server-side:
- OmnomIRC is now a PHP bot. It won't keep disconnecting like the old mIRC bot did, and a number of exploits have been resolved thanks to this
- Forum staff now have the ability to restart the bot
Client-side:
- There have been more channels added. #Omnimaga, #Omnimaga-fr, #Omnimaga-Spam, and #nspire-lua are currently supported. To get the last two, please enable the 'Extra Channels' option in the options
- The userlist updates again. It also live-updates when users sign into or out of IRC
- Tab completion once again works
- Moderators will find the moderator chan available
Please clear your caches on your client, if it is not working properly.

More updates!
1) Timestamps now show localized time (timezone difference, and AM/PM, if applicable)
2) IE support fixed(Goddamn IE. :|)
3) OmnomIRC now supports its own seperate-from-IRC channels. /join @chan and /part @chan to manage them
4) Various bugfixes and code-robustness fixes
5) UTF-8 support added

Updates for today:
1 - PM support. /msg, /q, and /query. Works like you'd expect it to work on IRC.
2 - Other channels now highlight when you are mentioned in them. The tabs turn red and highlights are processed as normal in them.
3 - Made the tab engine quite a bit more featureful.

You can PM them, but they won't be notified of it. They can view it with /query, though.

I guess it might be good in some ways. PMs won't show the date, so if somebody left the forums for 6 months, he would return with about 100 tabs open O.O

Tab Nickname Completion! This is a great feature, what about choosing what comes after (",",":"," ").
OmnomIRC is looking really good Netham, awesome updates.

By the way I still got the OmnomIRC refreshing stopping problem, but it seems random now. Sometimes it won,t ever happen at all, even if I don't reload the page for 30 minutes, then other times it stops refreshing after 30 seconds (usually if I am inactive).
However the OmnomIRC not sending lines through IRC glitch never happened again.
Do you think OmniNet compatibility will ever return?

Actually from my talks with him he already has plans for how to make his bot span more then one network, so as soon as he does that OmniNET will be added back in I'm pretty sure.

Ah that's good to hear. I was just a bit worried that now that OmnomIRC was stable he decided to ditch OmniNet or something. I liked the other network since when Efnet is being crappy it can be an alternative.
Also Netham45 would it be possible to disable OmnomIRC colors (the (O) being turned black, for example) for third-party channels? I'm not certain that #prizm co-admins like Kerm would like to see the color, considering in other TI channels they're not allowed altogether.

I wanna get some more done with the ACL and settings parts of OmnomIRC before I start adding options like that.

Also any way for me to fix the issue about not getting people PMs sometimes when i chat with them? I have to click another tab then go back to the private one to see them. Also I have to re-open them everytime I reload OmnomIRC x.x

I'm not sure yet, I haven't figured out what's causing it yet.

I have a suspicion that it's due to the way I'm dealing with timestamps, it might not be safe for different timezones/formats like I initially thought...

It's not fixed on PMs yet, but it should be fixed in chat.
